Synopsis
The global pandemic of COVID-19 has arguably changed the events and exhibition industry for the next few years if not permanently. However being a very resilient industry, the need for us to interact, attend and participate in large and small events will not disappear. On the contrary, being able to attend events – attending a concert, conference or sporting event – will become an even more important pursuit and a highly valued part of life for people around the world.  There is undoubtedly the need for changes in how the events industry operates and pivots to meet these challenges. In this webinar, we shall explore some of these challenges and look at how programmes like the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Events Management can prepare students for their future careers in this new environment.
