It is an excellent environment for an international student to understand how the financial world operates.” His current job “Now I work for HSBC as a Customer Development Officer. The responsibility for the position is to develop potential customer and keep a good relationship with our company’s key channels.” Overcoming challenges “In SIM GE, I was offered many interesting and challenging lessons such as macroeconomics and corporate finance. I overcame the obstacles through studying with my teammates, it enabled me to be more sophisticated in group assignments and to better work with group members.” Being equipped for his job “As a CDO, I need to communicate with customers from different cultures. With SIM GE’s emphasis on the global finance industry…it enabled me to analyse the economic tendency from a practical and professional view from my clients. It also allowed me to build a strong connection with my clients.” On life lessons learned in SIM GE “In a team, each member has his own personality, since we have to reach an agreement, there are sometimes conflicts and compromises.
