The programme provides the prerequisites and productive learning in vital management knowledge and skills required in an entrepreneurial setting.

This programme offers broad-based training in crucial management skills and knowledge, including Accountancy, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Information Technology, Law, Communications, and Economics.

Prerequisite(s)

• Applicants who do not meet the direct academic entry requirement are required to complete the Management Foundation Studies (MFS) programme.

Requirements to Graduate

Students must successfully complete and pass all 15 modules. Graduating students will be awarded with a Diploma from SIM.

Accepted Entry Qualifications

• At least 1 GCE ‘A’ level or 1 H2 level pass
• IB diploma
• Polytechnic diploma or equivalent
• SIMGE Management Foundation Studies (MFS) qualification*
• Other qualifications will be assessed based on other equivalence pre-university certification

*Applicants who do not meet the direct academic entry requirement are required to complete the Management Foundation Studies (MFS) programme.

Equivalent International Qualifications

International applicants will be assessed on the qualification’s equivalent to the GCE ‘A’ level examinations. For information on international qualifications, refer to SIM’s International Student Prospectus.

English Language Requirements

• GCE ‘O’ level credit pass (Grade 1 to 6) in English (as a first language); or
• IELTS with an overall score of at least 5.5; or
• TOEFL iBT Band Score ≥ 4.0 or 59 (iBT Test Centre) or 59 (iBT Home Edition); or
• An equivalent English language qualification.

Applicants who do not meet the English language requirement would need to undergo the Certificate in English Language (CEL) programme prior to enrolment in the MFS and Diploma programmes.

Certificate in English Language Programme (If applicable)

Selection into the Certificate in English Language (CEL) programme is solely based upon recommendation by the Admissions Committee for those who have applied for the Certificate in Foundation Studies, Foundation Studies and/or Diploma programmes, but failed to meet the English language requirements.

It is focuses on four essential skills in language learning – Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.

It features three levels:

• Pre-Intermediate (Level 3)
• Intermediate (Level 4)
• Upper-Intermediate (Level 5)

Student Development Fee Applicable to all students embarking on a full-time Diploma or Undergraduate programme at SIM. This fee goes towards activities that will help in students’ personal growth and equip them with functional skills that enhance their employability.	S$512.30
International Student Induction Fee A one-time fee payable by new full-time international students. This fee covers pre-arrival and arrival support, including activities to enhance the international student learning experience. As applicable, payable with the programme fees’ first instalment.	S$436.00
Application Fee Payable for each application form that is submitted. Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The fee will be refunded fully only if the intake does not commence.
