The main objective of the programme is to enable you to be more confident in your role as a nurse and provide excellent nursing care.
Experience Australia through the Beyond Borders initiative — a unique opportunity where global learning intersects with cultural immersion in the vibrant city of Sydney.
This optional, transformative, self-funded programme invites students enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing (Post-Registration) to collaborate with nursing and dietetic peers from around the world. Over the course of one week at Sydney Nursing School, participants will engage with insightful presentations on Australia's healthcare system, professional nursing practice, and the cultural dimensions of Australian food and society. The programme also includes guided exploration of the historic University of Sydney campus, visits to local healthcare settings, and excursions to Sydney's most iconic landmarks - including the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and a scenic ferry ride to Manly. Through these experiences, students will gain a rich understanding of Australia's diverse cultural and multicultural landscape. Beyond Borders fosters meaningful academic exchange, professional growth, and lasting global connections.
