Gain the skills and knowledge you need to launch an international career

A broad introduction to management, international business, foreign cultures and languages, which will allow you to work in a diverse environment or pursue graduate management studies. Highly international, this programme is designed for students wishing to develop international business skills and knowledge.
  • The Bachelor in International Business (BIB) graduates are also awarded the degree certificate “Chargé d’Affaires Internationales”. The programme has international recognition through the VISA de l’Etat and the Grade de Licence from the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. The recognitions present a competitive advantage for students planning to work in France following their studies.

  • Students must have completed Year 1 and Year 2 of an equivalent business degree programme from a recognised university. They must have completed an equivalence of 120 ECTS credits, of which 90 ECTS credits are in business subjects (including a subject on Corporate Finance or Finance fundamentals) and a minimum 21‐week internship.

Curriculum

Structure

  • Weekly schedule: Between Monday and Friday at three or six hours per session. Saturday classes may occasionally be scheduled if required
  • Class timing: 8.30am / 12.00pm / 3.30pm, held on SIM campus unless otherwise stated
  • Minimum class size to commence: 30 students
    If the class fails to commence due to low take-up rate, applicants will be informed within one month before programme commencement with the refund of application fee.

Assessment & Attendance

  • Assessments: Coursework*, written exams or a combination of both.
  • Capstone Case in International Business
    • To complete extensive analysis for an international project and to develop a business plan for a product or service in a new market 
  • Attendance requirement:
    • Local students – 75%
    • International students – 90%

 

*Coursework includes written assignments, class tests, group or individual presentations/projects, etc.

To attain the Bachelor in International Business, students must successfully complete the programme and meet its conferral requirements.

Admission Criteria

Accepted Entry Qualifications

Students must have completed Year 1 and Year 2 of an equivalent business degree programme from a recognised university. They must have completed an equivalence of 120 ECTS credits, of which 90 ECTS credits are in business subjects (including a subject on Corporate Finance or Finance fundamentals) and a minimum 21‐week internship.

Grenoble Ecole de Management may request an interview at the discretion of the Final Admissions Board.

All other qualifications will be assessed based on individual merits and subject to the final approval of Grenoble Ecole de Management.

All other qualifications will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the school.

English Language Requirements

  • IELTS: 6.5, with minimum score of 6.0 in all areas (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking); or
  • TOEFL iBT: 90 (minimum score of 21 in all bands); or
  • Cambridge English Level C1 (Proficiency/Advanced/Business Higher): Grade A, B or C; or
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE): 63, with minimum score of 59 for each band; or
  • Duolingo: 110 (minimum of 90 in all bands); or
  • English test waiver may be granted to students who have studied over 3 years fully in English (provision of supporting document is required)

Fees & Financial Aid 

Payment to SIM can be made through SIMConnect using Credit Card (Visa or Master), PayNow, eNETS, OCBC Interest-free Instalment Plan (min. S$500) and cheques.

* Fees are inclusive of 8% GST and are payable before the commencement of each semester. Fees will be subject to revised GST of 9% effective on 1 Jan 2024. Fees do not include textbooks and repeat fees (if any). Valid for 2023 intake only.

SIM Application Fee

Payable for each application form that is submitted. Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The fee will be refunded fully only if the intake does not commence. Unpaid applications will not be processed.

Student Development Fee

Applicable to all students embarking on a full-time Diploma or Undergraduate programme at SIM. This fee goes towards activities that will help in students’ personal growth and equip them with functional skills that enhance their employability.
Payable with the programme fee’s first instalment.

A one-time fee payable by new full-time international students. This fee covers pre-arrival and arrival support, including activities to enhance the international student learning experience.
