THE RESILIENCE ADVANTAGE: SELF-CARE STRATEGIES FOR BUSY PROFESSIONALS

Course Overview

In today’s fast-paced environment, mental well-being, self-care, and resilience are essential to sustained personal effectiveness and professional performance.

This one-day Self-Care course is a focused component of The Resilience Advantage programme. It enables participants to recognise their needs, strengthen personal resilience, manage stress, and establish healthy boundaries.

Through reflective tools and evidence-informed well-being models, participants will develop a practical self-care plan for application in daily life and at work.

Course benefits

• Understand the principles of duty of self-care and duty to perform in professional settings.

• Apply self-care strategies, practices, and techniques to establish and maintain healthy boundaries and manage stress effectively.

• Develop coping strategies for handling long-term stress in a professional environment.

• Engage in personal reflection and perspective-taking to enhance emotional intelligence and interpersonal effectiveness.

• Identify emotional and practical support systems, approaches, and resources available within the organization.

• Recognize signs and symptoms of burnout and implement proactive measures to prevent it.

Self-Care: The Foundation of Resilience

• Self-care involves recognising personal needs and taking proactive steps to address them through mindfulness, healthy routines, physical activity, reflection, and appropriate boundaries. By prioritising self-care, individuals build resilience, navigate challenges more effectively, and maintain a balanced and constructive outlook.
