SYSTEMS THINKING FOR PROBLEM SOLVING & COLLABORATION

Course Overview

Businesses are operating today marked by increasing complexity and uncertainty, frequently encountering a range of interconnected challenges. Often, these challenges are exacerbated by a fragmented understanding of the issues at hand, reminiscent of the parable of the blind men and the elephant, where each touches a different part and yet none can identify the animal. This scenario leads executives to repeatedly question, "What is the real problem here?"

This 1-day course is designed to equip participants with a robust framework for diagnosing problems through a Systems Thinking lens, emphasising the importance of comprehensive problem diagnosis to effectively ‘dissolving’ issues rather than just addressing surface symptoms. Participants will learn to view their workplace as a cohesive system by recognising the intricate interdependencies within.

Course benefits

Through this programme, participants will enhance their capacity to overcome complex problems through systems diagnosis, leading to sustained improvements and efficiency in the workplace. The focus on collaboration can help empower teams to harness collective insights, fostering a unified approach that minimises overlaps and closing gaps. By appreciating the big picture and understanding the interconnectedness of subsystems, participants will be equipped to devise strategies that boost operational effectiveness.
