Course Overview

Leading transformation and navigating complex change systemically through Collaboration and Creation Mastery. Systems leadership fosters collaboration across Divisions, Companies and Ecosystems, encourages the use of system thinking principles and promotes an ecosystem approach to looking at challenges. By influencing other leaders and promoting shared goals, it drives positive change and sustainability with the organisation and the ecosystem at large.

Programme leader

Thomas Lim, commonly known as Coach Tom, holds an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance and is a Specialist Adult Educator with the Institute of Adult Learning. Thomas has thirty years of experience, including two decades as a leader in both the commercial and governmental sectors, including positions on statutory boards such as Sport Singapore, Infocomm Media Development Authority, Singapore Telecommunications Limited, and Accenture plc. He previously led and trained executives in leadership and organisational development programmes for a government statutory board.

During his career, Thomas led organisation Transformation and L&OD at SportSG, and he helmed the Strategy Division for the Sports Sector. He headed the Industry Development Cluster/Division for the Sport/Media/Infocomm sectors for more than 12 years and launched various sector initiatives. He held major responsibilities for the Sport COVID-19 response team to preserve industry capabilities, save jobs, and emerge stronger in both policy-making and enforcement operations. Thomas undertook the role of Director at Gartner Group, responsible for the Market & Business Strategy Practice in Asia. He has consulted at the CEO and VP levels for business alignment and strategic projects in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Korea, Hong Kong, China, and Japan. Clients include various governments and MNCs. He spoke at various international seminars and workshops.

Thomas is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation, as well as having credentials in training, wellness coaching, and applied health and human performance. He is also the co-author of the PEARLS Coaching Framework, which was recently featured in the book "Think Coach Thrive!: Building Antifragility in organisations Through Workplace Coaching,“ and the author of other non-fiction publications. Thomas has also received numerous accolades, including the Public Sector Transformation Award, the PS21 ExCEL (Excellence through Continuous Enterprise and Learning) Award, the Gartner Outstanding Sales Contribution Atlas Award, and the Gartner’s Winners Circle Award.

Thomas is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council and has been educating and coaching mid- to senior-level leader-managers in large corporations to facilitate organisational transformation and maximise their potential for personal and professional success while aligning with the organisation’s strategic objectives. He is an expert in organisational change and growth, strategy, and Web 3.0, and has written over 30 pieces for Forbes as an official Forbes Coaches Council member in the previous three years. He has been coaching and mentoring as a director since 2006.

Irene Chia brings over 20 years of expertise in Organizational Development (OD), specializing in leadership and team development, change management, and organizational learning. She designs tailored programs that address underlying attitudes, beliefs, values, and systemic structures, unlocking the potential in both individuals and organizations to help them thrive in dynamic environments.

With experience in a wide range of OD interventions—including Strategic Visioning and Work Planning, Performance Management and Development, Culture Building, Team Interventions, and Competency Development—Irene has worked with over 150 organizations and trained more than 15,000 individuals from both the public and private sectors. Recent coaching clients include MAS, GOVTECH, AIC, NTU, MOHH, MSF, NIE, Cargill, Boehringer, EPSON, FWD, Ngee Ann, and SIA.

Irene is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accredited by the International Coaching Federation. In her coaching practice, she combines transformative one-on-one sessions with powerful psychometric tools and assessments, drawing valuable insights to foster growth and development. Certified in over 16 psychometric tools, Irene integrates data-driven insights into her coaching conversations. Her ability to connect with individuals and quickly identify the core issues allows her to see and address a wide spectrum of perspectives within an organization.

Irene’s work spans Singapore and across Asia, where she partners with diverse teams of facilitators and coaches. Before embarking on her consultancy career, Irene held leadership roles in social and community development, policy-making, and business development across two statutory boards and a consultancy firm, before founding her own business 10 years ago.

Outside her consultancy work, Irene is committed to giving back to the community. She is currently the President of the Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches (APAC), where she fosters the growth of coaching competencies and networks in the region. She also serves as an International Specialist Volunteer with the Singapore International Foundation, where she has coached university lecturers and taught organizational management and mentoring skills to NGO leaders in Mumbai. Additionally, she trains mentors for Social Innovation Park and serves as a Resident Strengths Coach for MentorsHub.
