Who should attend?

Programme leader

Ian Tan is a leadership, organisational development and executive coaching practitioner with over 30 years of leadership experience in the Singapore Armed Forces, including appointments as Deputy Base Commander of Changi Air Base, Squadron Commander, and Head of Leadership Development Branch at the SAF Centre for Leadership Development.

Currently an Executive Coach within the SAF, Ian supports leaders in leadership transitions and stakeholder engagement, and facilitates the Command Effectiveness Process, a structured team coaching intervention for newly appointed leadership teams. Beyond the SAF, he has facilitated organisational alignment and coaching engagements across the public sector, healthcare, education and social service.

Ian is currently completing a Doctor of Education focused on Life Purpose and Leader Self-Development, and is pursuing the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.

Clients / Focus Industries: Public sector (SAF, Singapore Land Authority); healthcare (Sengkang General Hospital); social service (MINDS, AWWA); education and adult learning (NIE, mentorship programmes); senior, middle and emerging leaders
