Communication skills are critical for supervisors, executives, and managers as a large part of their responsibilities involve delegating tasks and communicating with a variety of stakeholders to drive and achieve work outcomes. 

With the push for digitalization and new media, communication requirements at work have also changed, such as with the use of instant messaging, video conferencing, and social media. Being able to adapt and convey messages clearly and professionally across these platforms is crucial for personal and professional success.
