SIM Global Education Attained EduTrust Star Certification Award for the Second Consecutive Time

A Benchmark of Educational and Operational Excellence 

The Singapore Institute of Management Global Education (SIM GE), the higher education arm of the SIM Group, has attained the EduTrust Star certification award, effective 20 August 2026, for the second consecutive time. Having held EduTrust certification since 2010 and first receiving the EduTrust Star in 2022, SIM GE continues to uphold high standards in academic governance, student support, and the delivery of quality education.

Under the EduTrust certification scheme, the EduTrust Star represents the highest quality assurance certification available to a Private Education Institution (PEI) in Singapore. It is accorded to institutions that demonstrate commendable institutional management alongside exceptional performance in delivering academic quality and student welfare.  

Rigorous Evaluation Across Key Pillars 

To achieve the EduTrust Star certification, a private education institution must achieve a minimum score of 750 points out of 1,000 in a comprehensive assessment. Prior to receiving the award, SIM GE underwent a thorough renewal evaluation across seven key criteria:  

•    Leadership and strategic planning  
•    Corporate administration  
•    External recruitment agents  
•    Student protection and support services  
•    Academic systems and processes  
•    Quality assurance, innovation, and continual improvement  
•    Performance outcomes

The re-certification reflects the shared dedication of SIM GE’s academic and operational teams in providing high-quality educational pathways.

Established in 1964 at the initiative of the Economic Development Board, SIM has played a pivotal role in nurturing skilled talent for Singapore and the broader region. Today, SIM GE collaborates with top-tier international universities across Australia, Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States to offer more than 170 full-time and part-time academic programmes.
