About University of London (UOL)

The University of London is one of the largest, most diverse universities in the UK with over 120,000 students in London, and a further 50,000 studying across 190 countries. Academic direction of programmes offered at SIM is provided by Goldsmiths, London School of Economics and Political Science and University College London.

From our first intake of 40 students in 1986, we now have over 46,000 SIM-UOL graduates ranging from foundation, undergraduate to postgraduate.

The repertoire of LSE-led programmes has also grown to include Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Digital Innovation, Economics, Finance, International Relations, Politics and Management.

The BSc programmes in Computer Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Web and Mobile Development saw enrolment grow ten-fold. It has allowed additional offerings in User Experience as well as shorter-term Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate programmes.

The collaboration with University College London started in 2016 with the management masters' - MSc in Professional Accountancy - for Chartered Accountants. Today, the MSc Accounting and Financial Management expands the pool of candidates beyond business to engineering, IT and science.
