From there, I figured out what I was better at. The flexible curriculum also let me plan my timetable to balance both academic and co-curricular pursuits.” On building a strong support network “Five other scholars and I helped to set up the SIM GE Scholars’ Network (SSN), which provided an avenue for everyone to share resources and exchange knowledge and ideas through forums and panel discussions. Aside from that, I was also selected for the SIM GE All-Rounder Student (ARS) Development Programme. The workshops and training sessions they provided helped to ensure that I was career ready with the right skills and industry contacts.” On becoming Global Ready “When it comes to technical knowledge, SIM GE lecturers are able to impart global insights to help students broaden their perspective.” In addition, Redhuwan’s active involvement in co-curricular activities prepared him for working life, as he gained a sense of strong initiative and developed leadership skills.
