#Starbucks Level 1, Block C

Coffee and chill at Starbucks is one of my favourite pastimes.

One of the popular student spots on campus is Starbucks.  This is one of the most convenient places where students can catch-up with friends or simply space out by watching music and movies after lectures.  My friends and I enjoy the friendly welcomes from the baristas and the sweet aroma of the coffee beans. The lovely ambience often enhances our productivity and creativity during project discussions.

#Student Wellness Centre 2.05, Level 2, Block C

Our exchange students from Australia having a fun time at the Student Wellness Centre.

If you are feeling down or tired, there is always a place for you at SIM. SIM's Student Wellness Centre is open from 1 to 5 pm on weekdays. Here, you can take a power nap, play board games with your friends or even express your thoughts and feelings through painting. You can also meet with counsellors at the centre to offer you support and guidance. Here's a fun fact: One of the rules that you must follow when you visit is you'll have to put away all your books!

#Sunday Folks
44 Jalan Merah Saga, #01-52 Chip Bee Gardens, Singapore 278116

My personal favourite has to be the delicious waffles!

Sunday Folks is one of the most popular cafés among university students. Youngsters can often be seen at this café enjoying some sweet treats and taking Instagram-worthy pictures of the food and the cafe's interior. Their handcrafted desserts and coffee are popular as they are made from a detailed process with fresh ingredients. Last but not least, the place is clean and spacious and this helps in clearing your mind after a long day.

#Student Gym Level 4, Block A

[Updated: Block A Level 1]

Hanging out at the gym is a good way to recharge your mind and body.

If you prefer de-stressing by sweating it out, then the SIM Student Gym is the perfect place for you.  The gym is accessible to all students and it's the place to go with your friends if you're hoping to tone up and look your best. Pssst…no memberships required!

#Tai Cheong Bakery 31 Lor Liput, Singapore 277742

Enjoy Hong Kong cuisines and deserts?  Then head on down to Tai Cheong Bakery which is just about a 15-min ride away from campus. You'll be spoilt for choice with a range of delightful delicacies to choose from such as egg tarts, French toast, and char siew polo buns! This is also a great spot to have group discussions or to simply catch-up with friends as you recharge your batteries!
