Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards:
Private Higher Institution Platinum Winner
In 2012, SIM University won the Platinum Award in the Private Higher Institution category at the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards. This is the second consecutive year that SIM University has won the Platinum Award. In its 14th year, the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands survey is one of the most representative and transparent consumer surveys in Asia. |
EduTrust Certification and ERF Registration with the Council for Private Education
SIM Global Education and SIM University are amongst the first private educational institutions (PEIs) to be registered under Council for Private Education's (CPE) Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF), a mandatory registration for all PEIs operating in and from Singapore.
SIM Global Education was awarded the coveted EduTrust certification by the CPE in May 2010. The EduTrust certification replaces the CaseTrust for Education award which SIM received in 2005 for institutions that have a sound foundation for quality student welfare and business practices. EduTrust-certified PEIs must have robust academic systems and processes, and attain quality standards in the delivery of education.

AsiaOne People's Choice Awards:
Best Private School
 In 2012, SIM was voted Best Private School at the annual AsiaOne People’s Choice Awards, in recognition of the best brands and products in Singapore and the region. SIM was also gifted its inaugural Hall of Fame Award for being the Best Private School for five consecutive years. |
JobsCentral Learning Survey:
Top Choice in Private Education
SIM Global Education and SIM University were voted top choices in private education in the 2009 JobsCentral Learning Survey with SIM Global Education continuing its winning streak in 2010 and 2011. |
Fastest Growing 50 - Top spot
 In 2009, Singapore Institute of Management Pte Ltd topped the list of Fastest Growing 50 (FG50) companies in Singapore. The FG50 is compiled by DP Information Group (DP Info) - Singapore’s leading provider of business and credit information. To qualify, a company must achieve a minimum of 10% turnover growth every year for the last three years while remaining profitable each year. |
Singapore Education Awards:
Best International Marketing Effort by a Private Educational Institution
 In 2008 and 2009, SIM Global Education was conferred the 'Best International Marketing Effort by a Private Educational Institution’ title by the Singapore Tourism Board, an acknowledgment of SIM’s regional business and marketing efforts. This award recognises that SIM has effectively promoted both itself and Singapore as an attractive education destination, and has marketed itself with integrity. |
People Developer
 The People Developer Standard is a mark conferred by SPRING Singapore, which gives recognition to organizations that invest in their people and have a comprehensive system to manage the development of their people. In 1999, SIM was the first educational and training institute in Singapore to achieve the People Developer Standard, a certification that recognizes our commitment to human resource management and development. HR Vendors of the Year Awards (2010):
Preferred Management Training Firm and Preferred Sales Training Firm
 SIM Professional Development has won awards as the preferred corporate training, management training and sales training partner, under the HR Vendors of the Year awards (organised by Human Resources magazine) for four consecutive years from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, SIM Professional Development emerged winner once again, bagging the Preferred Management Training Firm and Preferred Sales Training Firm awards, continuing its winning streak for yet another year.
