In the recent years, many emerging technologies today including Internet of Things (IoT) have been changing our landscape. Coupled by the hot topics on climate changes, big corporates and SMEs are adopting these technologies at a faster pace to spearhead sustainability projects at their workplace. With this new paradigm shift, directors and managers are aggressively exploring the most efficient and effective way to grasp a good fundamental concept in the mechanism behind Internet of Things and the roles in the ecosystem. The programme objective is to equip learners with knowledge and skills to make high level decisions in this new directive towards implementing projects related to sustainability in their industries.
This course is specially designed by industry experts to equip learners with a strong fundamental concept and knowledge in Internet of Things. Woon Lim holds a Master in Computing and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Second Upper) from The National University of Singapore. He is currently heading a leading IoT solution provider, that leverages a suite of propriety technologies to enhance existing IT infrastructures with the integration of IoTs and RFID technology to bridge functional gaps to meet new and emerging demand.
Valerie Lee is a business entrepreneur and an ACLP-certified Specialist Adult Educator amongst the accredited Adult Education Professionals. She has founded several successful business ventures involving the design and supply of propriety smart apparels for large corporations, leading nascent developments in IoT and AI applications to solve industry pain points, and consulting for corporate clients and business owners. She is an accomplished digital marketing strategist and trainer, well sought after for her expertise, passion and business insights.
Valerie Lee holds a Master of Business Administration and a first degree in Mechanical Engineering from National University of Singapore. More recently, she was featured in the inaugural Singapore 100 Women in Tech 2020 List.
