Teaching Faculty
Lecturers are both academic and industry-based professionals with work experience and knowledge in their domain.
Delivery Mode
Programme is to be conducted 100% online for 30 hours over six sessions, with five hours per session.
Each online session comprises of one hour synchronous online teaching, lectures to present key concepts and principles to students AND four hours synchronous online individual and group activities.
A variety of teaching methods and approaches would be adopted with the aim of enhancing students’ learning. Instructions will mainly take the form of lectures, discussions and interactive presentations.
Learning Support
Additional classes and workshops provided to teach study skills, academic writing and presentation.
Academic Materials
Include module outlines, reading lists and handbooks on study strategies
Curriculum
8-month part-time programme (4 semesters) of 4 modules
Students are required to complete all compulsory modules
- Customer Behaviour and Analytics
- Data Privacy, Data Ethics and Governance
- Marketing in a Digital World
Students are required to complete 1 module from the electives listed below
- Data Visualisation
- Emerging Technologies
- People, Organisations and Teamwork
- Principles of Programming (R and Python)
Each lesson: 1 hour online teaching and 4 hours of individual and group activities

Candidature Period
Maximum allowed period to complete: 16 months
No refund or recourse should the student fail to complete in the maximum period.
SIM reserves the right to recommend and withdraw a student who cannot cope with the demands of the programme.
Minimum Class Size
Minimum class size: 10 students. Students will be informed within 30 days before class commences.
