SIM will be conducting temperature screening at its Clementi Road campus and SIM Management House starting on Monday,10 February 2020. This measure is in response to the Ministry of Health's (MOH) raising its response to the COVID-19 outbreak to Dorscon Code Orange because of heightened risk.

At the Orange level, the Ministry of Education (MOE) has instituted a range of additional precautionary measures. All private educational institutions are expected to undertake similar measures with immediate effect to help protect their students and staff, and ensure a co-ordinated effort on everyone's part to help mitigate further spread of the virus.

All persons - including students, staff, associates, vendors and members of public - entering the SIM Clementi Road campus or SIM Management House must report to one of the four temperature screening stations. Visitors are required to complete a travel declaration form. Contact details such as mobile numbers will be collected to facilitate contact tracing if the need arises.

Please refer to Annex A for the locations of the temperature screening stations.

If you do not have a fever, you will be issued with a sticker which must be displayed prominently on the left side of your chest at all times while you are on campus.

Persons seen on campus without a sticker will be denied access to classes/events and asked to report to the screening station. We encourage everyone to be vigilant and report those without a sticker to SIM Security on Level 2, Block A (SIM Clementi Road campus) or Level 4 Atrium (SIM Management House).

If you are screened to have a fever, you will be denied entry to classes/events and advised to see a doctor immediately. Please call the clinic ahead of your visit and declare your travel history.

We seek the understanding and cooperation of all persons entering the SIM campuses to abide by the measures put in place by the authorities to help contain the spread of the disease.

We urge you to be vigilant, monitor your health, observe good personal hygiene and to seek medical attention immediately if unwell.

For the latest information and health advisory on the COVID-19 situation, please visit MOH's website at https://www.moh.gov.sg/2019-ncov-wuhan.
