She shares how the holistic experience helped her grow on a personal and professional level. On how her overseas experience changed her mindset “My summer exchange in London encouraged me to take an active and engaged approach to learning. This opened up intriguing discussions with my professors and schoolmates during lectures and tutorials.” On how having a global outlook opens more doors “I think having a certain range of experiences gives you an interesting story to tell. The difference lies in being able to share beyond just your studies. Plus, you also get to find out more about yourself. My overseas experiences opened up opportunities for me and gave me a platform to grow.” On what it means to be Global Ready “It is about being open-minded. Getting a global education changed the way I learn and my outlook. It broadened my perspectives. I also think the best part of being an SIM-UOL student is the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life, whether it’s face to face or virtual communication. All these add a cosmopolitan and global mix to our studies.” Learn more about the programmes available at SIM Global Education. View other alumni features.
