Building Capabilities for Growth through the Business Advisors Programme
Not sure about how to grow your business or develop your company’s corporate structure? A short-term business guidance and advisory service may be the solution.
Known as the Business Advisors Programme (BAP), SMEs could request for subject matter expertise to provide consultancy services to assist them in business growth and corporate development efforts. A government subsidy of 70 per cent is available for those who qualify for the programme.
The initial collaboration with SPRING was officially completed on 31st July 2012 with 44 matched projects across diverse industries and corporate areas. The success led to a further 2-year extension with SPRING approving another trench of subsidies to support SMEs till July 2014.
SMEs who tapped on the programme have tremendously benefitted both in terms of the expanded resources and knowledge required to help them move forward in their next path of growth.
"BAP should be the first assistance scheme for any SME who is embarking on strategic projects, to take on. With its wide talent pool and programme flexibility, we have learnt and benefited much from the scheme."
Mr. Tan Chin Aik, Business Development Director of Golden Bridge Foods Manufacturing Pte Ltd
