Seven Members Elected to SIM Governing Council

At the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) 54th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 30 May, three new members were elected to the SIM Governing Council while four current members were re-elected. Their appointment is for a period of two years from 2019 to 2021. They are:

  • Mr Chia Wee Boon, Chief Executive Officer, NCS Pte Ltd (new member, previously co-opted)
  • Ms Susan Chong, Chief Executive Officer, Greenpac (S) Pte Ltd
  • Professor Hsieh Tsun-yan, Chairman and Lead Counsellor, LinHart Group (Vice Chairman and Secretary, SIM Governing Council)
  • Ms Madeleine Lee, Managing Director/Chief Investment Officer, Athenaeum Pte Ltd (Treasurer, SIM Governing Council)
  • Ms Adeline Sum, Chief Executive Officer, Singapore Labour Foundation and Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Strategic Alignment), NTUC Enterprise (new member, previously co-opted)
  • Mr Tan Choon Seng, Chairman, Truscott Group
  • Mr Yuen Kuan Moon, Chief Executive Officer, Consumer Singapore and Group Chief Digital Officer, Singapore Telecommunications Limited (new member)

There is also one new co-opted member:

  • Mr Nazri Othman, Senior Vice President, Apron Service, SATS Ltd

Three members stepped down from the Council. They are:

  • Mr Patrick Fang, Managing Director, PFang & Associates Pte Ltd
  • Mr Jen Kwong Hwa, Chairman, GridComm Pte Ltd
  • Mr Winston Tan, Managing Director, Corporate Brokers International Pte Ltd

The remaining members of the Council are:

  • Ms Euleen Goh, Non-Executive Chairman, SATS Ltd (Chairman, SIM Governing Council)
  • Ms Junie Foo, Group Executive Director, Methodist Welfare Services
  • Mr George Thia, Director, Asiainc Pte Ltd
