Platform E, SIM's entrepreneurship ecosystem, signed a landmark collaboration agreement with General Electric (GE) on 12 April to advance industrial internet entrepreneurship in Singapore.
The collaboration is the first of its kind in ASEAN, and will tap into both partners’ knowledge resources and expertise and establish a co-working space to incubate industrial internet start-ups locally and in the region.
Platform E will gain access to GE's pool of experts, some of whom will act as mentors to Platform E's programme participants. Start-ups will also have access to GE's Predix platform, a software package designed to collect and analyse data output from industrial machines.
